Client Perspectives
"The scenario planning workshop challenged some assumptions we'd been holding without realising it. The facilitation was structured but never felt mechanical — there was genuine thinking happening in the room. We came out with a clearer sense of which of our strategic options were actually robust across different futures."

"We engaged Moongate for a quality management review ahead of a certification process. Their report was thorough and direct — including feedback on things we'd missed or let slide. The prioritisation in the recommendations was genuinely helpful; it meant we knew where to put our effort first. The process took longer than anticipated, but the output was worth it."

"The knowledge management work addressed something we'd been aware of for a long time but hadn't known how to approach. Several key people were approaching retirement, and the institutional knowledge they carried had never been systematically documented. Moongate helped us understand what was at risk and put a practical framework in place."

"What stood out was the directness. They gave us their honest reading of the situation, including observations about our leadership team's blind spots that a less candid firm might have softened. It was uncomfortable in places, but it was what we needed. The scenario work gave our board a shared language for discussing uncertainty that we hadn't had before."

"We had tried to document our quality procedures internally for years without getting it right. The QMS review gave us an external benchmark and a clear sense of where the gaps were. The consultants understood the operational context quickly and didn't need lengthy explanations to make sense of what they were seeing. A solid, professional piece of work."

"We engaged Moongate for a knowledge management strategy after losing two senior staff members in quick succession. The audit they conducted was more revealing than we expected — the amount of undocumented know-how was significant. The framework they designed has since helped onboard three new team members more effectively than anything we'd tried before."

Preparing for Market Uncertainty: A Logistics Company
The Challenge
A mid-sized logistics company with operations across Hong Kong and the PRD was approaching a significant expansion decision with a leadership team divided on the right path. Market conditions were shifting and there was no shared framework for discussing what different futures might mean for the business.
What We Did
We conducted stakeholder interviews across the senior team to surface the key uncertainties and strategic priorities. From these, we developed three distinct scenarios and facilitated a full-day workshop for eight senior leaders to stress-test their current strategic options against each scenario.
The Outcome
The team reached alignment on a phased expansion approach that remained defensible under two of the three scenarios, with specific trigger conditions identified for accelerating or deferring investment. The leadership team reported that the shared language for discussing future uncertainty was itself a durable outcome of the work.
Preserving Critical Knowledge Before Key Retirements
The Challenge
A family-owned trading company with 35 staff was facing the retirement of two long-serving managers whose combined institutional knowledge was extensive and almost entirely undocumented. Previous attempts to document their expertise internally had not progressed.
What We Did
We conducted a knowledge audit, mapping what expertise existed, how it was currently shared, and where critical knowledge was most concentrated in individuals. We then designed a knowledge capture framework suited to the organisation's culture and a transfer process the two retiring managers found workable.
The Outcome
Within three months, a significant portion of the critical knowledge had been captured in usable formats. The company reported that onboarding of replacement staff was more structured and faster than it had been in previous transitions. Both retiring managers described the process as worthwhile and respectful of their expertise.
